Error when starting cups 1.4.7 on CentOS

Fresh install of CentOS 5.5 and CUPS, no device or anything configured but I get these errors on startup of CUPS.  Debug logging didn't yield any other clues.  Anyone have any ideas as to the cause?  does not happen with same rpms on RHEL installs.
