umask-like setting for jobs printed to file?

Hi All,

I have a queue that prints to a local file (using the DeviceURI file: parameter) but the file ends up getting really restrictive ownership/permissions, they are...

-rw------  root admin 5288677 Oct 21 15:21 printedfile

Is there a way to control the permissions the printed file receives? I have perl scripts that process these files but it runs as the user I am logged in as and it can't do certain things with the file because of the permissions.
