[cups.general] FreeBSD lpr to CUPS ?

Hello

I've installed a 1.5 CUPS server on a Linux box and
I'm trying to remotely print from a FreeBSD machine
using the BSD standard lpr command

The client's printcap looks like the following

d640|d640 remote printer:\
       :sh:\
       :lp=:rm=pdc:mx#0:sd=/var/spool/output/d640:lf=/var/log/lpd-errs:\
       :sh:sf:rp=d640:

starting and enabeling the "d640" printer seems OK when using lpc
but the jobs stay stucked on the client machine with the following
message

waiting for pdc to come up

"pdc" is the cups server ...

Is there someting to modify on the SERVER configuration so that it
accepts jobs from my BSD machine ???
