1.4.3 (SunOS/sparc): canceled jobs do not go away and stay in active list

look into these
PreserveJobHistory No # Files that start with cxxxxxxx
PreserveJobFiles No # Files that start with dxxxxxxxx
maybe it just isn't purging them properly.
