Default paper size with Zebra 2844 in Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6 CUPS 1.4.7

hello,

i am attempting to print a file being displayed in Chrome using the Zebra printer.

Everything works fine except regardless of how may times i save the settings, the Paper Size always reverts back to "Other" and next to that, it says "8.50 by 11.00 inches."

i have set up a customer paper size and when i choose it, it works, but i am unable to save these settings which prompts the users to manually choose it every time.

i have looked at the PPD file, but i don't really see anything in there that would solve this problem.

i am unable to find there the "Other" paper size is being pulled from. it's not in the PPD and i don't see it with any other printer.
