job-originating-host-name: how to get IP addressonly

I added

HostNameLookups off

to the cupsd.conf file, restarted cups and no dice. I'm still getting the hostname showing up in the job-originating-host-name" parameter in the cups options instead of the IP address.

Ubuntu 10.04
cups 1.4.3
clients: Win XP and Win 7
protocol: LPR to the cups LPD

There must be something o/s specific that's mucking with this. Any ideas?

Thanks
Greg
