Illegal entry in bfrange block in ToUnicode CMap

I am getting loads of these errors:
Error: Illegal entry in bfrange block in ToUnicode CMap
In /var/log/cups/error_log

Anybody an idea how to resolve this?

I found the error also in an old ubuntu bug:

BTW: I am trying to increase loglevel, but anything higher than notice (info, debug, debug2 makes cupsd segfault)
