[cups.general] cupsaddsmb not creating x64 directories

I have followed the steps here 
http://blog.realcomputerguy.com/2011/10/cups-samba-64bit-driver-installation.html 
but cupsaddsmb will not create the x64 directory. It created the W32X86 
without a problem.

I don't want to upgrade cups (Using version 1.4.1 and 1.4.2)

Can I download a newer cupsaddsmb and compile it? If so, where can I get it.
