my first use of CUPS, adding printer

On our server we connected a printer to use via the network.
This server is running ClearOS 6.3.0. Our printer is a HP Officejet 4219. These printer has more functions than we use currently. It also is a fax and a scanner. We use the print-option only.
The printer is connected via a USB-connector.
What is the right way to connect/define the printer? When I hit "Add printer", the next screen came up how to connect the printer (SCSI, LPT#1 of serial port #1). Which do I have to choose for the USB-connection?
