rpm -ba on AIX 6.1 w/ 1.4.7

I'm trying to make an RPM on AIX 6.1 and I'm moving right along until I hit this.  I have no idea where these options are coming from that it's trying to pass GCC,  i did a set | grep maxdata and nothing was their either.  anyone have any ideas?
