CUPS, CUPSLite and towards and embedded-size subset

I'm working on an embedded platform, and would like to incorporate CUPS in a NAND flash/UBI image.

CUPS seems rather large for the situation,and I'm wondering if there is an off-the-shelf solution towards an embedded-size subset of CUPS (and maybe foomatic, etc.)

I see CUPS-Lite listed in some of CUPS.org's online repo here:

unfortunately, I find no further evidence of this in any repo ... anywhere.

Ideas, anyone?
