Setting Up Epson Stylus TX121 As Network Printer

I am trying to get my Epson Stylus TX121 printer working as network printer. So I added this printer as shared raw printer (as it's driver was missing in my system) using the add printer wizard provided by the CUPS web based GUI. Then I added this printer on windows XP and Mac OS X 10.6.8 specifying the URI as ipp://192.168.1.222:631/printers/Epson_Stylus_TX121. 192.168.1.222 is the system's (I am using Fedora 13 with cups-1.4.6 installed) IP address where the printer is attached locally via USB port. From Windows XP I can print successfully. But from Mac I can't print. Then I came to know that Mac uses CUPS as spooler. So I opened the log (/var/log/cups/error_log) in Mac and found this:

Epson TX121 driver version used in Mac OS X is 9.00 which was downloaded from Epson Printer Support site.

Any idea whats wrong ?
