[STR New]

Subsystem: backends

The supply levels processing fails to account for the following
situations:
1) Supply levels may be reported by printers as percent values. This
situation is indicated when the prtMarkerSuppliesSupplyUnit value for that
marker is 19 (enumeration which represents 'percent' according to Apple
technical note TN2144).
2) Special values may be reported by printers for supply level. These
values are enumerated in RFC 3805/1759; importantly, -3 indicates that the
respective marker supply is ok.
3) Supplies can grow upward to maximum capacity rather than consuming
toward zero. This situation is indicated when the prtMarkerSuppliesClass
value for that marker is 4. This affects how status states are generated.

Attached is the relevant portion of a printer MIB that exhibits all of
these characteristics.
