Authentication-Problem: Local Cups-server does not send Authentication-data to a remote Cups-server

Our Print-server environment consists of a Cups-server, which sends all the printing data to two printers. To be able to send printing jobs to our centralized Cups-server every user has to authenticate at the cups server.

The clients are linux-based with a local cups-server, which sends all the printing-data to the remote cups-server. The problem is that the local Cups sends the printing data without any authtication, so the Authentication always fails.

We would be very grateful if you could give us some information or comment about how we could solve this problem.

Thank you very much in advance.
