Tray feature or bug in/ with CUPS: lp [...] -o media=Tray1 [...] not always working

Hi,
somebody here wonders why CUPS option "lp [...] -o media=Tray1 [...]"
doesn't work any longer if a pstops command was applied to the
postscript document?
The workaround is: create a printer for that tray, tell the ppd file of
this CUPS printer to use always Tray1 by using e.g. CUPS-html
configuration tool. Then it works!

This feature / bug of CUPS is part of CUPS since years, at least util
CUPS 1.3.11.

Tested with many PCL/PS laser printers like HL 5350 with 3 cassettes.
