Have already installed gtklp and it is EXACTLY what I need!   And  as  I
have already written, the version history goes bach to year  2000  which
is very promissing!  Also Upstream is not death!

I was not aware that it is in Debian since there are too  many  packages
:<S  and it is easy to lost the overview!

Note:  I will try xpp too, because I have a ARM based PanelPC (Dual-Core
       1200MHz with 1 GByte DDR3 SODIMM) where I  like  to  keep  things
       light, even if you can not compare an ARM µC with an AMD or Intel
       CPU. This little pig has performance pur.
       (I is a Marvel Discovery MV78200)
