[cups.general] unable to print

It looks like it believes the job complete.

When you print do you see a network connection between the server and  
the printer device [netstat --tcp]?  Does the printer have a  
busy/status light?  If so does it blink or flash [but print nothing]?   
If it is a laser printer can you use the user panel to set it into  
dump-mode and see if it prints something then?
