lpoptions documentation

I was confused by this sentence in the lpoptions documentation:

       If no options are specified using the -o option, then the current options for the named printer are reported on the standard output.

I read it that -o with no options reports the printers options.  What is really means is that not using -o at all reports the options.  Better wording would be:

      If the -o option is not used, then the current options for the named printer are reported on the standard output.

Also, I found that lpoptions --help says -p is required for -o, while the lpoptions manual page and behavior does not require -p.
