[cups.general] Samsung ML4050 with PCL/6

Hi there, I've succesfully printed to PCL/6 printers using cups-1.2.4-11.18.el5
on one of our Red Hat servers (Red Hat 5.2).  

I also have a Red account running Red Hat 5.4 (CUPS cups-1.3.7-11.el5) and can
not seem to print to a Samsung ML4050 using the pxlmono PCL/6 driver. 
Postscript driver DOES work but I need to use the PCL/6 driver for speed.  The
printer is set up using a simple socket (ip/port) URI.

When setu pusing the pxlmono driver a page is printed with what looks like "1B"
in thee corner (PCL Start code ?)

Any help would be appreciated.
