when modifying printer,WI takes you back to Admin screen

Cookies are enabled and connecting to other CUPS boxes are fine.  Oddly enough, if i go to the WI via the IP Address instead of the hostname it works.  this box is part of a child domain so the address is prs01.client_name.domain.com and my other box that i can use by name and IP is just prs01

when clicking on the modify printer attribute or add printer this happens
all resolve to http://servername/admin/
