gs --version says: 9.05

foomatic-rip, pstops and pdftopdf is running as filter

For me that's an interesting question. If I view the postscript file
before sending it to the printer using 'lpr ...' I can see the pictures.

I thought to change the driver now. But if the postscript is not correct
this would have little effect.

I could try that (first I have to find a Adobe Reader).

After long investigations I found out how to add a ps2pdf | pdf2ps
conversion to the filter chain. Yesterday I thought I got it but today I
tried to print out gif files and again there was only a line instead of
the picture.

I thought the driver (pxlmono/pxlcolor) is malicious but maybe it's the
conversion between postscript and pdf.

Maybe I can find another driver.

I invested so much time but now I'm back to start. Unfortunately I need
this printer running.

Nevertheless thanks for your help. I hope it will work at some point.

Regards,
Flo
