CUPS detection of mime.types

Hi,

I wonder if there is a program that can tell me which mime type CUPS detects 
for a certain file? 

We just upgraded our server and we've been having some problems with zero 
size print jobs from some apps. (mostly Adobe Reader).
This was mostly solved by replacing an old mime.types file, but the problem
is still there with some printers.
