[cups.general] Can the rasterisation file be logged for scrutiny when printing

You could install Tea4CUPS
(http://www.pykota.com/software/tea4cups/download) and make your printer
managed by Tea4CUPS (by prepending tea4cups:// to its DeviceURI).

Then in tea4cups.conf set "keepfiles: yes"

Done.
