Creating new user with administrative rights

Hello.

Using the root UNIX account (or my user account) in http://localhost:631 to addp rinters doesn't work (I have UTF-8 as base encoding, maybe that's why?).

Anyway I'd like to create a new user for cups that can administer the printers.

I tried adding my user account to lpadmin in /etc/group, or doing lppasswd -g lpadmin -a fab (fab is my UNIX account), or lppasswd -g lpadmin -a admin (there is not 'admin' UNIX account), but nothing worked.
