Help properly installing Cups-lpd fonts for box drawing

I reported an issue involving box drawing characters a few weeks back. The response was that there was an issue with the default font for certain utf-8 box drawing characters does not contain those character.

my utf-8 file has the the following entry

2500 25FF ltor single Monospace Monospace-Bold Monospace-Oblique Monospace-BoldOblique

How would I install a font that does for that UTF-8 character range?
