Hi

I want to generate a few PPDs for an Epson XP-100 and a Canon MG2200 so first I thought I would have a go at HP Deskjet 3050 which I know already works with a hplip

My raw driver is here
http://ompldr.org/vaTEyNg/hp.drv

I tested it with
ppdc -tv hp.drv
hp3050.ppd: PASS

ppdc -d /tmp hp.drv
cupstestppd -v /tmp/hp3050.ppd

/tmp/hp3050.ppd:
    DETAILED CONFORMANCE TEST RESULTS
        PASS DefaultImageableArea
        PASS DefaultPaperDimension
        PASS DefaultPageSize
        PASS DefaultPageRegion
        PASS DefaultResolution
        PASS FileVersion
        PASS FormatVersion
        PASS LanguageEncoding
        PASS LanguageVersion
        PASS Manufacturer
        PASS ModelName
        PASS NickName
        PASS PageSize
        PASS PageRegion
        PASS PCFileName
        PASS Product
        PASS PSVersion
        PASS ShortNickName
    NO ERRORS FOUND
my PPD is here
http://ompldr.org/vaTEyNw/hp3050.ppd

my error log is here
http://ompldr.org/vaTEyOA/error_log.txt

Other information can be given if needed.

The tests were using an old version of Cups on TinyCoreLinux as our version is out-of-date.

Any help in resolving why no paper is actually printed would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully I can then use "whatever" to resolve the other PPDs I am trying to generate.

I am attempting to use ghostscript so if you spot I am not, feel free to mention it. Ghostscript and Cups is loaded along with perl.

Thanks for reading

Gordon
