EPSON LQ-590 not printing on complete page with good quality

Hi ,

Our EPSON LQ-590 Dot Matrix printer not printing on full page with good quality. Specially we want use this printer to print pdf files . We have tried by printing flat files also it not printing on full page. please help us how to print pdf files . We tried even by using preprocess with pdf2ps and pdftops tools. Operating system is RHEL 5.5
