[cups] scaling problem

hi,
I have a scaling problem when printing a .ps file coming from latex
on a photosmart printer. More precisely:

- printing on a laser printer postcript files (with lpr) or pdf files
   (with acroread) gives the correct size.
- printing on the photosmart, the size is correct with acroread, but
   slightly too small with postcript.

I tried to play with the -o scaling option, without success.
Browsing the mailing list archive, I saw in a post that scaling is no supported
for .ps files. So, for what type of files is it supposed to work? Is there
a workaround for postscript files?
