[cups] unable to open file | permission denied

And, I have more or less the same issue if print from command line, or 
from a PDF viewer (I tried many).


But, it isn't just a PDF issue. I just tried a simple ASCII text file, 
and get the following error:


stopped
"/usr/lib/cups/filter/texttops failed"/
