[cups] How to find & install HP LaserJet 600 M601 PPD on RedHat Enterprise Linux 6 to print postscript

Dear RedHat Administrator,

Finding and installing HP LaserJet 600 M601 driver (PPD), into CUPS on RedHat Enterprise Linux 6 server have not been successful. I need to setup a CUPS 
HP JetDirect postscript printer to print PDF report for this model of printer.

A colleage has recommended to use Generic PCL 6/PCL XL Printer Foomatic/pxlmono (en) which only works for PCL output instead of PDF. Past attempt to download 
and install PPD file has resulted in overwriting or corrupting /etc/cups/cupsd.conf.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.
