Yes, at approximately 14.4cm from the top border of the default test
page, I get a solid swath of black background with text for the basic
info (Media Limits, Job ID etc) in white. At first I thought maybe
this was a new (and very toner wasteful) style until we tried to print
an actual document and got the same inverted white text on black
background problem.

It was for testing in case it was specific to the test page or the
document we were printing.

If it helps eliminate this possibility, we used a .PNG image for testing.
