[cups] Not able to set default tray 2 on HP LaserJet 600 M602 in order to print from Red Hat 6.7

Hi All,
I managed to setup CUPS to print PDF files to lower tray 2 through RedHat Enterprise Linux 6.7. However, files that are larger than a page would end up printing some to tray 2, and others back to manual tray 1. Can anyone figure out why is this occurring? This would not be an issue if I was able to set its default tray to 2. I think the problem with this model of printer is that it would default to lower tray 2, only when manual tray 1 is not used/closed. However, I need to use manual tray 1 as a normal tray. The same issue occur when using either JetDirect/Samba setup.
