[cups] Mixing kerberos and basic authentication

Dear list,

I have set up a CUPS server to support kerberos authentication for  
both printing and web interface. However, I would still like to have a  
fallback (basic/password) authentication method for the following use  
cases:
* user authentication from non-kerberized clients
* authentication for administration tasks (users in the @SYSTEM group  
have to authenticate to the local password database of the server).
Is there any way to configure CUPS in a way to prefer kerberos, but  
offer basic authentication if the former fails?
