You need to install the proprietary final filter. As you did not tell  
what system you are using,
lookk at
http://support.brother.com/g/b/downloadtop.aspx?c=de&lang=de&prod=mfc295cn_all
download both the LPR driver and the cupswrapper
and follow the installation instructions.
