[cups] What is a "virtual_PDF_Printer"?

I have two PDF printers:
     CUPS-PDF
     Virtual_PDF_Printer

I use CUPS-PDF frequently.

Virtual_PDF_Printer doesn't seem to do anything but
take up space.   I was just wondering what its story was.
