Which resolution do the Datamax printer have?

The resolution in the driver has to fit the physical resolution of the printing head.

Do you want to have something like shrink to fit?

we get a PDF (105x148 mm) from the German DPD parcel service.

This is send via lpr to the CUPS. There is configured a printer (Datamax i-class with ZPL emulation) with CUPS driver Zebra ZPL 1.3.

Everything works fine, but if I do change in CUPS the resolution from 203 dpi to 300 dpi, the printed label is 1/3 larger.

How can I print with 300 dpi but get the size unchanged?
