Hello user group,

I wrote a script to install HP printer. The script is called from udev rule with „nohup my script [NEW_PRINTER] [PRINTEROPTIONS]”.

Within the script I call „lpoptions -d [NEW_PRINTER]”. But lpoptions does only print output similar to "lpoptions -h”.
If I do the same with „lpadmin -d [NEW_PRINTER]” it is working as expected. If I call lpoptions -d [NEW_PRINTER]” on command line, it is working as expected to.

Any reason for this?.

Regards,
Thomas
