[cups] IP110 printer left margin too small Kubuntu 16.04

I want to try and I'll keep it very short here.



Any ideas about this?


All prints done on Canon IP110 mobile printer using USB connection, both 
default installed driver and manually installed driver (they are the 
same) in Kubuntu 16.04 has the page image shifted to the left by about 
0.23" which means you have to increase the left margin in your program 
and decrease the right margin to be able to print anything normally.

Which can't really be done for stuff like PDF. What can I look into?

I have tried using cupsfilter to take a PDF and produce a new version of 
it, but it was not changed.

I tried to use "all filters" (-e option?) from the IP110USB.pid (when 
manually installed). It didn't do anything, so I am not sure it has to 
do with the cups filters.

I also don't know what to do else.
