Hi Franz,
Thanks for helping me. I'm running Centos 5 (Red Hat 5) with CUPS 1.3.7.32
I don't have a directory 'drv' in /usr/share/cups/

Anybody an idea for Centos?

Best regards
Frank

At ubuntu 15.10 you only hav to extend the sample.drv and restart cups/ reconfigure the printer

sudo vi /usr/share/cups/drv/sample.drv

1) add the mediasize a6

    MediaSize w576h360
    MediaSize w576h432
    MediaSize w576h468
MediaSize A6 << added at ZPL section

2) Restart cups
sudo systemctl restart cups.service

3)reconfigure the printers via web-interface 4)"set default option" at printer and choose A6

I added the papersize but I do not have checked the printout.

Regards
Franz

As – as far as I know – CUPS by default supports ZPL printers by converting the cups-raster format to ZPL graphics by the rastertolabel filter, it should be possible to define the A6 format simply ba editing the printer’s PPD.

For certainty, please post the printer’s PPD.
