You don't log in to through the CUPS website. This is mailing list hosted by CUPS.org.  You must register for the list first before you post to the list.  Your acceptance e-mail to the list will provide posting details.  See --

You already are searching from a subdirectory or a file in /dev.  The directory /dev will not list itself.  Change directories to the root of the hard drive and try again.

cd /
ls -a
