[cups] Couldn't open file Permission denied on spool files

Hi Helge,

I think you are on the right track

I changed spool directory as follows:
drwx--s---   3 root lp         273 May  6 20:09 spool

I printed another file and I see it's getting created with group nobody.
-rw-r----- 1 root nobody  95344 May  6 20:08 d00170-001

The filter it's going through is:
-rwxrwxr-x  1 root lp  10456 Jun 17  2015 gziptoany

How do we get cups to create the file as group lp ?

Still getting the error:
"Unable to open file "/ir_cups/spool/d00172-001": Permission denied"

Are you sure that nobody is set as the group the cups filters are running as?
Usually the default is group lp (or _lp, depending on system configuration).
