This is what I hate about CUPS. I've been using it for years, and I
know it can do what you say it can do, but from what you said there I
still would have no idea how to print on one CUPS from another CUPS.
"just point the client system at the server" is meaningless to a newbie.
Ditto "indirectly using a local queue that forwards to the remote queue".
Please, if you're going to explain things to a newbie, *explain* them.
Please don't use language that only a CUPS expert has any chance of
understanding.
