[cups] HP DesignJet 110 custom size problems

I'm trying to print out a poster I made. The poster is 24x48. I'm trying to
print on a roll from an HP DesignJet 110+ nr. It works fine if I print
anything on 16x24 or 24x36, but when I try to print anything (been testing
on https://www.microwaves101.com/downloads/smith%20chart%20in%20color.PDF
since it prints faster) on 24x48 it scales as if it's 24x48 but crops to
the 8.5x11 size. I.e. if I had a 24x48 print it would be the same scale,
but only an 8.5x11 portion of that scale. I'm not 100% sure that it's
8.5x11 and not A4, but it's that basic size.

I'm using the chp2200 ppd file because the cdnj500.ppd file seems to always
cause 61.05 errors on the printer which seems to be a wrong format error.

Here are the lines I added to the ppd file:

    *PageSize 24x48/24x48: "%% FoomaticRIPOptionSetting: PageSize=24x48"
    *FoomaticRIPOptionSetting PageSize=24x48: " -dDEVICEWIDTHPOINTS=1728 -&&
    dDEVICEHEIGHTPOINTS=3456"
    *End

    *PageRegion 24x48/24x48: "%% FoomaticRIPOptionSetting: PageSize=24x48"

    *ImageableArea 24x48/24x48: "18 34.02 1710 3441.83"

    *PaperDimension 24x48/24x48: "1728 3456"

And here's an example of ArchD (24x36, one of the sizes that works):

I have no experience with plotters other than this one, and the only
experience I have with this one is using the built-in sizes.
