[cups] CUPS 2.2.2 on RHEL 6

How can I get CUPS 2.2.2 on RHEL 6?

Failing that, how can I build CUPS 2.2.2 completely static so that I can 
install it somewhere else on the same system as the standard RHEL 6 CUPS?

What I'm really trying to do is figure out how to extract PPD files from 
printers using IPP Everywhere.

This command doesn't work with RHEL 6 CUPS:
lpadmin -p ippcupstest -E -v ipp://10.40.24.136/printers/psraw -m everywhere

Presumably because RHEL 6 CUPS is 1.4.2.

I have built CUPS 2.2.2 using "--enable-static", but only ipptool-static 
actually gets built static.
