I configured two new machines on my network today, and while doing so
discovered that the HPLIP works perfectly. Prints fast, and multiple
pages go quickly. Aparently for those who are having difficulty with
drivers, you are likely suffering from too many drivers and too much
BS. I tried for half an hour to reconfigure my office machine, but
finally moved my files to the cloud, and blew off the OS, and within
another 30 minutes was happily printing with the HPCUPS.
A lot of work leading to a happy end. But the bad part is for those
who can't blow off the system, and start fresh... I have no answer.
The diagnostic tool found many issues with my installation, however it
works... can't fault that part.
