When you choose Print from the File entry at the top of a Firefox or
Evince page you get a list of printer queues and printers which are
available to you. This is the GTK dialog. One entry is very likely
named "print". This is the one I would like to know whether it works
or not. That is, showing "Rejecting Jobs" or not.

The number of queues/printers listed depends on whether you have
cups-browsed running. An entry wth an underscore is possibly a
queue managed by cups-browsed. If you stop cups-browsed, you might
be more enlightened.
