[cups] CUPS won't send my user name to the printer

Actually, I think you're safe.  I never managed to determine when the 
bug was introduced, but our 1.7.x servers worked, but out 2.0 and 2.1 
servers did not.  That leads me to think it would have been introduced 
in 2.0.
