[cups] CUPS won't send my user name to the printer

Yes, between the BEGIN/END is the file content to use. I simply created
CUPS filters (I think that is the term) to massage the input and generate
new output to pass on to the next filter.
(Probably good to check user and permissions).

Yes, it has to be created too same as above.
(Also maybe check permissions, and SELinux will possibly get in the way
too, so for testing disable it maybe).

Unfortunately I no longer have this setup so I cannot check more details
than I put in the email, but the links might provide extra background
information (if they still work!).

Speaking of which, .... silly me, I put this on my very much un-maintained

I hope it is all correct and consistent. One thing that I found was that
there are many PJL parameters, and your particular authentication might
need to massage different ones than in my setup.
