I did this, but my msg never came back from the list, nor do I recall 
getting a reject msg.

Now after replacing a toraster command of some sort, I've a new problem 
w/o ever affecting the original, which was that it used way too little 
ink and all printouts were quit pastel.

But since putzing with that, I've a new "invalid command clean" and the 
printers output is getting pretty sad from plugged nozzles.

How can I restore the ability to clean heads from the cups maintenance 
menu?

I cannot build the latest cups-2.3b7 because there are no symbols in 
librt.so.1.  And the dev file is installed.
