What version of Ubuntu?

This bothers me. Why produce RWG raster and not Apple raster?

Lots of good information. As a cross-check please give what you get
for

  avahi-browse -rt _ipp._tcp

and

  avahi-browse -rt _uscan._tcp

You will have to install avahi-utils.
